Please join us for an opportunity to hear from Barbara Turk, New York City’s Director of Food Policy, on the City’s progress in strengthening New York City’s food system so that it works for all New Yorkers. The mission of the Office of the Food Policy Director is to advance the City’s efforts to increase food security, promote access to and awareness of healthy foods, and support economic justice and opportunity in the food system. The Office coordinates multiple City agencies and offices and brokers partnerships with advocates, nonprofit and community organizations, philanthropy and the private sector.

NYC Regional Food Hub Briefing, 7/22

Join us for a funder briefing with GrowNYC to learn about the proposed development of a Greenmarket Regional Food Hub in the Bronx. This large-scale facility will provide a home for Greenmarket Co., space for an expanded wholesale farmers market, a light food processing center to prepare local produce for wholesale, and other infrastructure to support local food businesses.
