5 - 8pm

New York Health Foundation
1385 Broadway, 23rd Floor

This is a funder-only event

Co-sponsored by Philanthropy New York

CFF is proud to announce our 10th Annual Gathering! This event is a chance to meet funder colleagues, enjoy good food, and build relationships needed to grow our work together.

The evening will be a celebration of our community with delicious food and drink, and a reminder of the work we must do together. We are also including breakout time to connect with your peers working on similar issue areas.

This year, our keynote presentation will be a panel discussion with leaders from NYC Mayor Mamdani's administration whose work impacts our local food system:

    • Scott French, Administrator, Human Resources Administration
    • Jamie Horton, Executive Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Business Operations, NYCEDC
    • Qiana Mickie, Executive Director, Mayor's Office of Urban Agriculture
    • Siddhartha Sanchez, Executive Director, Mayor's Office of Food Policy

As part of the evening's agenda, we will hear from Grinding Stone Collective, the recipient of the 2026 CFF Champions Award. Grinding Stone Collective was chosen for the Award in recognition of its work preserving indigenous foodways and culture across a diverse group of First Nations.

Whether your focus is on nutrition or hunger, food chain workers or farmland preservation, emergency food or food waste, we all have a part to play in creating the just food system that everyone deserves. We encourage your attendance if you’re a long-time CFF member, just entering the field of food systems change, or simply a curious bystander who likes good food. All funders are welcome!

Join us at the CFF Annual Gathering for an evening of good food, networking, and updates from the field.

Catering will be provided Buffalo Jump NYC, a Native-led catering company re-indigenizing New York City through food
