Since 1992, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation (FCCF) has been uniting people and resources to address the most pressing needs in the 23 towns and cities that make up Fairfield County. Our mission is to partner with our community to create a region where every person has an equitable opportunity to thrive. As a trusted partner to philanthropists, nonprofits, business, and community leaders, we are working to address the root causes of our region’s greatest disparities in education, health, housing, and income and asset building. FCCF is centers our efforts on creating systemic and structural change to achieve greater racial equity and create a stronger, more thriving region.
Fairfield County’s Food Security Fund was launched in late 2025 to direct resources to the people and places with the greatest need—from neighborhood pantries and community college food closets to afterschool programs, reentry and veteran services, and local farms. Its goal is to fund what works and help fill the gaps others miss. It will also help advance policy solutions like free school meals for all students.
